-422 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-422 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 4.1 in (104.14 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.65 in (118.11 mm), catalogued under part number V90422. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
