568-422 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70422 is an AS568-422 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.1 in (104.14 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.65 in (118.11 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
