APG stocks the V75423, an AS568-423 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.775 in (121.29 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
