The VB90423 is an AS568-423 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.775 in (121.29 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
