APG stocks the A80424, an AS568-424 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, high-temperature steam, and hot water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) offers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
