Ordered as VITON75424, this is an AS568-424 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
