-424 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90424, this is an AS568-424 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
