The N70424 is an AS568-424 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) is valued for inherent flame-retarding characteristics, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance.
