This o-ring is supplied in AS568-424 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm), catalogued under part number HS70424. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or esters call for a different compound.
