APG stocks the SV70425, an AS568-425 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.025 in (127.64 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
