568-428 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70428, an AS568-428 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.4 in (137.16 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. This material stands up to ozone, impact and shock loading, and petroleum oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
