568-430 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-430 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile supplied with an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.65 in (143.51 mm), catalogued under part number SV70430. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.
