568-430 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-430 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.65 in (143.51 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90430. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or esters.
