568-430 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70430, an AS568-430 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.65 in (143.51 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. This material stands up to ozone, extrusion under high pressure, and impact and shock loading. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or acids and bases are present.

It sees regular use in hydraulic cylinders, off-highway equipment, and mining and heavy equipment.
