-431 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

APG stocks the VITON75431, an AS568-431 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.775 in (146.69 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists many acids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.
