568-431 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

Ordered as SV70431, this is an AS568-431 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.775 in (146.69 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
