An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or esters will shorten service life.
