568-431 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70431 is an AS568-431 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.775 in (146.69 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. This material stands up to impact and shock loading, ozone, and abrasion and wear. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Exposure to prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases will shorten service life.
