Part number TES70434 is an AS568-434 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for strong resistance to permeation and non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
