-435 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80435 is an AS568-435 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.275 in (159.39 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Expect good resistance to high-temperature steam, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and hot water. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents.

Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, oil and gas production, and downhole tooling.
