-435 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

The H50435 is an AS568-435 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.275 in (159.39 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving polar solvents or ketones call for a different compound.
