568-435 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70435, an AS568-435 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.275 in (159.39 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils, impact and shock loading, and abrasion and wear. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Verify compatibility before use with prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or ketones.
