568-436 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

APG stocks the SV70436, an AS568-436 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.4 in (162.56 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
