568-436 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90436 is an AS568-436 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.4 in (162.56 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. It resists modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or esters are present.
