Ordered as VITON75438, this is an AS568-438 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments.
