568-438 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70438, an AS568-438 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists petroleum oils, impact and shock loading, and ozone. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in high-pressure fluid power, press and forming equipment, and off-highway equipment.
