Ordered as HSN90439, this is an AS568-439 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.025 in (178.44 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, heavy-duty powertrain, and engine timing systems.
