568-439 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70439 is an AS568-439 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.025 in (178.44 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. This material stands up to ozone, impact and shock loading, and petroleum oils. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or ketones.

Typical settings include press and forming equipment, high-pressure fluid power, and mining and heavy equipment.
