568-440 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

Ordered as U70440, this is an AS568-440 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.275 in (184.79 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists petroleum oils, impact and shock loading, and ozone. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to ketones or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
