Part number E80PC442 is an AS568-442 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. This material stands up to ketones, water and steam, and brake fluid. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
