568-442 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

Ordered as HS70442, this is an AS568-442 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and modern refrigerants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones will shorten service life.
