568-442 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90442 is an AS568-442 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and engine timing systems.
