This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-444 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile supplied with an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.275 in (210.19 mm), catalogued under part number SV70444. It seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
