568-447 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

Part number U70447 is an AS568-447 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.975 in (227.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.525 in (241.94 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) delivers long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and exceptional abrasion resistance. It resists ozone, impact and shock loading, and extrusion under high pressure. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Exposure to prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in hydraulic cylinders, press and forming equipment, and mining and heavy equipment.
