Part number VITON75448 is an AS568-448 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.025 in (254.64 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
