APG stocks the U90448, an AS568-448 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.025 in (254.64 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists impact and shock loading, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and exceptional abrasion resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.
