*568-451 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-451 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.525 in (292.74 mm), catalogued under part number TES70451. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. It resists strong acids and solvents, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
