APG stocks the U70452, an AS568-452 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.025 in (305.44 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and impact and shock loading. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
