This o-ring is supplied in AS568-453 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.525 in (318.14 mm), catalogued under part number H50453. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or polar solvents call for a different compound.
