-454 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-454 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 12.475 in (316.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.025 in (330.84 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75454. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
