568-454 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-454 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile with an inside diameter of 12.475 in (316.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.025 in (330.84 mm), catalogued under part number SV70454. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
