-455 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-455 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC455. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
