568-455 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

The SV70455 is an AS568-455 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.

Common environments for this compound include aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and chemical processing.
