The U70455 is an AS568-455 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, ozone, and abrasion and wear. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases are present.

It sees regular use in mining and heavy equipment, high-pressure fluid power, and off-highway equipment.
