-457 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

APG stocks the VB90457, an AS568-457 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.525 in (368.94 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
