This o-ring is supplied in AS568-457 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.525 in (368.94 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90457. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.
