568-457 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

U90457 is an AS568-457 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.525 in (368.94 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.

Typical settings include construction machinery, hydraulic cylinders, and high-pressure fluid power.
