Part number SV70458 is an AS568-458 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 14.475 in (367.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.025 in (381.64 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature.
