-459 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

H50459 is an AS568-459 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.525 in (394.34 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present.
