-459 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

Ordered as E80PC459, this is an AS568-459 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.525 in (394.34 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and ketones. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
